XTRM Insights and Analysis
XTRM APIs now feature new Tax Information API to enable XTRM partners to embed access to tax reporting data directly from within their application.
As tax season ramps up, the release of XTRM API 4.8 now includes a Tax Information API that enables XTRM partners to embed access to tax reporting data directly from within their application.
Effective immediately, XTRM partners will be able to use the API to allow users to request tax information without having to go to the xtrm.com website to do so.
The API provides US beneficiaries (payees) with a PDF copy of their 1099-K for the Tax ID associated with their account and a detailed list of all the transactions used to calculate the 1099 amounts.
Non-US beneficiaries can request and receive a detailed transaction list for all the transactions for the Tax ID associated with their account so they can report any income as may be required based on their locality.
Both US and non-US users can also request the information by logging in to the users account on the XTRM Global Payments Platform. By using the API, XTRM partners are saving their customers and users from having to do so.
Developers can find additional details in the XTRM XAPI Documentation Guide. Or reach out for more information via their XTRM Slack Channel.

Using digital wallets is the first step; fully benefit from a global payments platform by using APIs to embed payment capabilities in your tech stack.
Improving payment processes may seem an unlikely area for significant impact to profitability; however, it can be an area rich with opportunity, particularly if your business serves others with processes that include moving money among multiple entities.
